Columbia Weather Systems was formed in 1998 as a spin-off of Hinds Instruments which has been in business since 1971.

How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
After 12 years in design engineering for a test and measurement company, I was asked to head up this small company which was being spun off from another instrument manufacturer.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Our small size enables us to be flexible and provide personal service to our customers. We can offer custom-engineering solutions.
